A statewide crackdown on distracted driving continues. Mike Hanson with the Office of Traffic Safety says so far law enforcement…

“They’re seeing pretty much the same thing they’ve seen in years past and that is too much. People are interacting far too much with their electronic devices and not paying attention when they’re behind the wheel.”

In Minnesota, distracted driving has been a contributing factor in around 45 deaths annually. The extra enforcement campaign runs through April 30th.
