Five people were hospitalized, including four 18-year-olds from Rochester, following a two-vehicle crash on Highway 14 Friday in Eagle Lake.
The Rochester teens suffered non-life-threatening injuries when the driver of another vehicle failed to yield at the intersection of Highway 14 and 598th Street near the Casey’s store in Eagle Lake, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Paige McPeak was the driver of the Rochester teens and passengers were Julian Bretton, Oliver Dahlberg and Kathryn Hyberger.
The driver of the vehicle that failed to yield— 51-year-old Kari Lundberg, of Redwood Falls — was also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
All five were wearing seat belts and were taken to the Mankato hospital. Alcohol was not a factor.
