How to resurrect an insulin assistance program that fell through the cracks at the end of the legislative session — that’s the topic this afternoon (Mon) as Governor Tim Walz talks with Nicole Smith-Holt, whose son died because he couldn’t afford insulin:

“No one in Minnesota should go without lifesaving drugs, especially something as common and as needed as insulin.”

The governor says he’d prefer changes to state law, but if inaction is putting people at risk, he reserves the right to use executive action.
