The State Patrol says an 18-year-old New Ulm woman sustained non-life threatening injuries after she crashed into another car on Highway 14 west of New Ulm . It happened Wednesday night around 5:30.

Madison Portner was taken to the New Ulm Medical Center after the accident, according to the Patrol.

Portner and a 55-year-old New Ulm woman, Sandra Rueckert, were driving eastbound on Highway 14. The State Patrol accident report says Ruekert stopped to turn left and was sideswiped by Portner.

Road conditions were dry and alcohol was not a factor in the crash. Both were wearing seatbelts according to the Patrol.
