Mankato native, Kelsey Bigbee, is launching a campaign to raise funds for farmers in Nepal through a series of community-building experiences over shared meals.

This summer she is helping to launch an initiative to raise $100,000 in capital to fund the expansion of a Moringa farm owned and operated by farmer and friend of Kelsey’s.

The first event – ”A Taste of Nepal: An International Community-Building Extravaganza” – will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 PM on Sunday, July 14 at The Hub Food Park in Mankato. It is an all ages, family-friendly event featuring authentic Nepali fare served buffet-style in a relaxed outdoor venue.
