On Saturday, June 29th, the Children’s Museum of Southern Minnesota will host an event to show appreciation and recognize the sacrifices made by military service members and their families on behalf of our community, state, nation, and beyond.
All current and past military service members, and their families will receive free admission from 9 am to 4 pm that day.
This event will include a special visit from the Raptor Center from the University of Minnesota.
The guests from the Twin Cities will be at the Children’s Museum from 10 am to 12 pm, with special programming featuring our country’s national bird, a bald eagle.
Funding support for this event was provided by the Bemis Company Foundation and Mankato Elks Lodge #225.
