The Eagle Lake Public Works Department has placed orange cones around a small sinkhole that has formed in the 100 block of Connie Lane just west of Hunters Court. The sinkhole is the result of a collapsed and cracked storm sewer pipe underneath the road that needs to be replaced. A contractor has been contacted and the utilities located in this area. It is anticipated that the emergency repair work will take place early next week
