“But the length of harvest time really varies from farm to farm depending on the varieties they’ve planted, the weather and the soil type, mild temperatures in the 70s and 80s, will extend the season and allow the berries to ripen at kind of at a slow steady pace, whereas extra heat can cause berries to ripen more quickly and shorten the season.”
