Minnesotans for a Smoke-Free Generation are calling change after the hospitalization of four Minnesota teens for acute lung injuries possibly tied to vaping.

“We really hope that we can use this to reinforce the need for urgent action on teen vaping. This is really a wake-up call to people across the state who can make a difference in helping to address the youth nicotine epidemic.”

Spokeswoman Laura Smith is calling on communities and the state to raise the tobacco buying age to 21 and limit access of teens to flavored tobacco products.
