Extra DWI enforcement is on Minnesota roads. State Patrol Lieutenant Gordon Shank says officers from more than 300 agencies are happy to put in the overtime to be a part of this end of summer crackdown.
“It’s frustrating when you see a drunk driver, because you know they could have seriously injured or killed somebody by their decisions. At the end of the day, you’re taking a risk. You’re not just risking their lives you’re risking other lives as well.”
Extra enforcement runs through Labor Day.
