Only six days remain to visit this year’s Great Minnesota Get Together. Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan says the fair is a tradition that should not be missed.

“Some people say Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year–I think the State Fair is the most wonderful time of the year. It is just a time when we come together from across the state of Minnesota and celebrate being Minnesotan.”

Today is Read and Ride day at the fair with discounted admission for public library cardholders with a valid public library card. Tonight at the Grandstand–Hall and Oates perform.
