Country music singer Chris Janson decided to feature Migos rapper Offset on his song’s remix for “Say About Me”.  Although this pair is unusual, Chris Janson was sure he wanted a Migos rapper on his remix, specifically Offset.

An executive from Janson’s record label, Warner Music Nashville, heard the song and suggested a remix starring an artist from outside Janson’s usual music genre, country. After Janson’s record label reached out to Offset, the rapper agreed to be on the remix and asked for direction as to how Janson would like his verse to go on his hit song, “Say About Me”. Janson told Offset to simply “be Offset, say what you want.” The rapper did just so. The opening line of Offset’s verse raps “I got the baddest b**** in the game/ diamonds on her neck and wrist make it rain”.

Offset’s style is quite different than Janson’s. Janson typically has been branded as a “family-man” while Offset raps about more risky things on the track, such as drugs and fancy jewelry. Despite their differences, Janson has stated that he and the Migos rapper, Offset, have quite a bit in common. To begin, they are both fathers of four and enjoy fancy cars and jewelry.
