Dolly Parton has hit another career first. The 73-year-old country star has recently released a song that has earned her a number 1 hit on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic chart.

The new song is called “Faith” and is a collaboration between Parton, Swedish electronic music group Galantis, and Dutch musician Mr. Probz.

According to Nielsen Music, within the song’s first week of being released, it was streamed 1.8 million times in the U.S. and sold 4 thousand downloads.

“Faith” is a cover of a song off of 1987’s studio album, Bring the Family, by John Hiatt. Parton explained to news sources that she wants to bring more uplifting music into the world.

Parton will perform “Faith” at the 2019 Country Music Awards. In addition to performing her new song, Parton will also be co-hosting the awards show with Carrie Underwood and Reba McEntire, as the organization wants to honor iconic women in the country music genre.

The CMA Awards, which will take place at Nashville, Tennessee’s Bridgestone Arena, will air live on ABC’s network at 8 pm on Nov. 13. Be sure to tune in to watch Parton’s performance of her new hit song, “Faith”.
