A Lake Crystal man was arrested after an early Saturday morning traffic stop in Mankato. Blue Earth County court records say 20-year-old Paul Peter Jal was charged with fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle, interference with a peace officer, reckless driving and running a red light. Authorities after Jal was asked to get out of the car during a traffic stop he ran away from an officer returned to the vehicle and attempted to flee law enforcement. He was found at a residence an hour later.
