2019 was a positive year for North Mankato according to Mayor Mark Dehen.

“Infrastructure wise, we completed Commerce Drive, finished Tyler Avenue and added the shelter at Benson Park,” said Dehen. “We added 20 million dollars of new construction with Blue Star Power and the North Mankato Family Clinic.”

Dehen says there will be several properties coming off the tax incremental financing roll this year and the city was able to reduce its property tax asking by 1.4 percent.
