There’s a bail hearing next Tuesday for the man accused of shooting Waseca Police Officer Arik Matson in the head. Thirty-seven-year-old Tyler Janovsky is currently being held at the Oak Park Heights state prison after being transferred from North Memorial Medical Center. Janovsky was also injured in the January 6th shooting which involved Matson and two other Waseca officers. A judge on Wednesday approved the transfer to Waseca for the February 4th hearing. Matson’s family says he underwent reconstructive surgery this week and it went well.
