Kenny Chesney has postponed his 2020 “Chillaxification” Tour. The tour, which included a concert at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis on May 2nd, is currently set to start on May 30th with a performance at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh.
“You can’t take risks without really understanding the consequences,” he said in the statement. “In times of uncertainty, I won’t take chances with those I love. I can’t imagine, as much as we love being out there playing for the fans, being able to do that through the worry our nation is experiencing,” the singer said in a statement.
Representatives of Messina Touring are working to find alternative dates for the shows. Those that are unable to attend will receive a refund.
