The Mankato Salvation Army is concerned about the health and safety of our staff, clients and volunteers. Because COVID-19 is easily spread from person-to-person, we will be taking new temporary precautionary measures.

Effective March 16, 2020, we will be implementing the recommended social distancing of 6 feet or more between staff, clients and volunteers by limiting in-person contact through programs and services.

Instead:
1. Clients should call directly for all emergency social services

2. Phone lines will be open M-F from 10AM-4PM 507.345.7840
3. The Noon Feeding Program will be a GRAB & GO format only. No public seating will be available.
4. No public showers or laundry will be available temporarily.

5.) The seasonal Emergency Men’s Shelter will remain open, until its usual April 1st  closure as planned.
6.) All children’s programs, ministry services and other group meetings/building usage have been suspended thru March 30.
