Minnesota Governor Tim Walz says he and President Donald Trump had a 10-minute conversation over the weekend. The governor said it was a good chat.

“I wanted to get the opportunity to tell the President what we are doing,” said Walz. “The President told me here’s hearing good things about what’s going on here. I do believe there were prominent Minnesotans that contacted the White House and told them about the good things going on here.”

Walz said Friday he contacted the White House after President Trump tweeted “LIBERATE MINNESOTA.” Reports said the President sent out of a series of tweets in support of protesters asking for stay at home orders to be lifted.
