State Senator Rich Draheim from Madison Lake says he appreciates the guidelines the Governor’s office released last week regarding ways for businesses to re-open. Draheim says the government needs to be careful to not label certain businesses more critical or essential than others.
“If it’s your company and it’s how you feed your family, then it’s critical for you,” said Draheim. “I think we have to be careful in labeling jobs. They’re all important to someone and we need to have a path for everyone.”
Draheim says the models he’s seen should allow most of society to re-open May fourth, which is the end of the Governor’s stay-at-home order, with modifications. He feels there should be a way to protect the most vulnerable and allow healthy individuals to return to work.
