Online appointment scheduling for Minnesota class D driver’s knowledge tests begins today (FRI).

“We are dealing with such a huge backlog from the 8 weeks that we were out of the office, so right now we are hearing for our customers that it is hard to get in for a knowledge test, and if they do get in they are certainly waiting for a long time in line.”

DVS Director Emma Corrie with the Minnesota Department of Vehicle Services (DVS) says they’re discontinuing class D knowledge tests on a first-come-first served basis and will require appointments beginning Monday (July 13th). To book appointments online, go to drive.mn.gov.
