Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, it seems like where you find one, you find the other. The two country stars have made a habit of collaborating and sharing the stage with each other time and time again. From their ten straight years of hosting the CMAs together to their hit song “Remind Me,” Underwood and Paisley have become somewhat of an unofficial duo that country fans have grown to love. On Saturday (September 5), the two reunited once again to provide us all with an incredible show at the Grand Ole Opry. The show was broadcasted on live tv, over the radio, and live-streamed online. Luckily for us, that means that the footage of the event is readily available on YouTube! Both Underwood and Paisley sang some songs of their own and then came together and sang “Whiskey Lullaby,” “Remind Me,” “Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man” as well as a few other songs as duets. Additionally, the two told short background stories of some songs between performances and took the time to take note of the usual times we are in. Paisley specifically noted that due to the current times, “we will never take for granted getting to come out here and sing again.” The country star also noted that “as long as the Opry is going, [he] has hope” and thanked the all the fans that have continued to tune into the infamous country show to make it possible.
