Secretary of State Steve Simon says he’s hearing some claims that voting by mail is risky. He wants Minnesota voters to know that that is not the case here.

“There are some states which are doing something called the universal vote by mail where all registered voters automatically get a ballot sent to them whether they requested it or not or whether they wanted it or not that’s not what we’re doing in Minnesota.”

Early voting started in Minnesota on September 18th. For more information on getting a ballot for the November election, you can visit mnvotes.org.
