A key COVID-19 metric has dipped below an important threshold for the first time since March.

The state’s case positivity rate is reportedly once again below 5 percent in the state. The percent of total tests coming back positive has long been a marker for the Minnesota Department of health in gauging the spread of COVID-19. Anything above five percent was considered a danger zone. Today the state reported just over 500 new positive tests…out of more than 10-thousand completed tests.
