State officials say COVID-19 vaccine booster shots are immediately available for eligible residents following FDA approval for Pfizer boosters.  The state categorizes those who should or may get a booster shot as those 65 and older as well those between the ages of 18 and 64 with underlying medical conditions or whose work puts them at an increased risk of exposure.  Anyone can locate vaccine providers by using the state’s locator map or visiting vaccines.gov.  About 55-percent of fully vaccinated Minnesotans received the Pfizer vaccine.
