9/30/21 Nashville Minute

— Kane Brown is teaming up with GRAMMY-award winning R&B star, H.E.R. The two collaborated for a song called, “Blessed & Free.” It’s out today. Brown will hit the road tomorrow to kick off his Blessed & Free Tour in Sacramento.

 

— Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood will perform at the Grand Ole Opry’s five-thousandth [[ 5,000th ]] celebration. It’s in honor of the Opry’s five-thousandth Saturday-night broadcast. Darius Rucker and Dustin Lynch will also perform at the event on October 30th. It will air live via the Grand Ole Opry’s website.

— The CMT Artists of the Year event is returning to Nashville next month. It honors the top five country artists who dominated the year in country music. They’re Chris Stapleton, Gabby Barrett, Kane Brown, Kelsea Ballerini and Luke Combs. The 2021 edition airs live on October 13th from Music City’s Schermerhorn Symphony.

— Josh Turner is getting ready to release his first-ever holiday album. ‘King Size Manger’ will drop next Friday, October 8th. Turner will set out on the Holiday & the Hits tour on November 18th in support of the album.
