— Miranda Lambert is releasing a new song to country radio. It’s called, “If I was a Cowboy,” and it was co-written by the country star. She shared the exciting news with fans this past weekend, including a snippet of the tune. The full version is available today. Check out her video.

— Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood will perform at the Grand Ole Opry’s five-thousandth celebration. It’s in honor of the Opry’s five-thousandth Saturday-night broadcast. Darius Rucker and Dustin Lynch will also perform at the event on October 30th. It will air live via the Grand Ole Opry’s website.

— Toby Keith is out with his first studio album in six years. ‘Peso in My Pocket’ features ten songs, including a co-write with rockstar Sammy Hagar. It also features a song co-written by John Mellencamp and the late John Prine. ‘Peso in My Pocket’ is due out today.

— Chris Young is going on tour this month. The star’s “Famous Friends Tour” kicks off next Thursday, October 21st, in Little Rock. It wraps up on December 5th in Connecticut. Mitchell Tenpenny and Callista Clark will serve as support. Tickets are on sale now. The tour is in support of Young’s album with the same name. The tour rolls through Rochester, MN on Friday November 5th.

— The Pistol Annies are announcing the release of their very first Christmas album. ‘Hell of Holiday’ is due out next Friday, October 22nd. The album is available for preorder now.
