State safety officials are looking for help from employers to assist in reducing the high number of deadly vehicle crashes in Minnesota. The move comes as the state gets closer to 400 traffic deaths for the year. At this rate, Minnesota will surpass the record for traffic fatalities since 2007. The Minnesota Safety Council recently launched the Speed Counts, Slow Down initiative. It calls for employers to use emails, newsletters, and social media blasts from the council to educate their workers about the dangers of speeding.
