— Alec Baldwin is addressing the accidental shooting on the set of the movie “Rust.”

Speaking to the paparazzi in Vermont over the weekend, Baldwin said he cannot make any comments on the shooting which killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injured director Joel Souza. He explained that’s due to the ongoing investigation with the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Department in New Mexico. Baldwin fired the weapon that claimed Hutchins life after wrongly being told it was not loaded.

— The sci-fi epic “Dune” remains the top movie in North America. The remake of a 1984 film earned 15-and-a-half-million-dollars in its second week of release in the U.S. and Canada. “Dune” is also available for home viewing on HBO Max. “Halloween Kills” was second with eight-and-a-half-million-bucks followed by the James Bond picture “No Time to Die” with nearly eight-million-dollars. Rounding out the Top Five are the Japanese anime film “My Hero Academia — World Heroes Mission” followed by “Venom — Let There Be Carnage.”

— A star of the hit series “Ted Lasso” says the show’s third season will begin filming early next year. Phil Dunster told Variety production will start January 31st. He added the show’s main star Jason Sudeikis who plays soccer coach Ted Lasso, knows the story arc. However, Dunster is being kept in the dark about what the season has in store. As far as a script, Dunster said, “the writers are in the writing room and we will see what happens.”

— Roblox is back online after being out of service for more than two days. The game-creating platform was back up by Sunday afternoon. CEO David Baszucki wrote a blog post, apologizing for how long it took to restore service, blaming several factors. More than 200-million people use the platform monthly.

— Actor and former White House staffer Kal Penn is engaged. On Sunday, the 44-year-old told People that he and Josh have been together for 11 years. The lovebirds met when Penn had taken a break from acting to work in the White House under former President Barack Obama. Penn wrote out their love story in his new memoir “You Can’t Be Serious.”

— Will Smith says he once considered suicide. He made that admission in a trailer for his upcoming YouTube docuseries. The “Aladdin” actor has been on a strict fitness regiment to lose 20 pounds in 20 weeks. Smith said the routine not only pushed him to get into shape, but it also helped him discover “a whole lot of hidden things about myself.” In the trailer, Smith is seen working out and training and he talked about writing his upcoming memoir “Will.” The book will be released on November 9th. The docuseries debuts on YouTube on November 8th.

— Fans of “Atlanta” now have a sneak peak of season 3. Donald Glover wished his two-and-a-half-million Twitter followers a Happy Halloween on Sunday while also dropping a link to a site that led to a one minute trailer. The trailer ends with a shot of Paper Boi, played by Brian Tyree Henry, wearing a shirt that reads ‘FAKE’ in front of servants facing a wall. The short clip teased a 2022 release.

— Real estate reality stars Tarek El Moussa and Heather Rae El Moussa are sharing their honeymoon spots. The pair got married last weekend before jetting off to celebrate. E! News reports they were heading for the Maldives, spending ten days in a bungalow over the water. They’ll then spend a few nights in Dubai before heading home.

— Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson are just friends who hold hands. The 41-year-old reality TV star and 27-year-old Saturday Night Live cast member were spotted holding hands while riding a roller-coaster at Knott’s Scary Farm on Friday. The pair were out with Kim’s sister, Kourtney Kardashian, her fiancé Travis Barker, and other friends. A source tells People two duo hangs in the same circle, so they will be seen together from time to time.
