Today (WED) is National Stress Awareness Day. According to a recent study from the American Institute of Stress, 73-percent of people experience stress that impacts their mental health. The University of Minnesota’s Mariann Johnson says amid the pandemic…

“The past year and a half, almost two years now have been extremely challenging for all of us, right? we’ve experienced a sense of loss and grief and a whole lot of uncertainty.”

Johnson says in that same period of time, many of us have learned a lot about resilience and the capacity that we have to meet life’s challenges. Johnson recommends eating and sleeping well, getting exercise and avoiding isolation as we look for balance and try to cope with stress.
