On November 3rd, 2021 at approximately 5:30 pm Agents with the Minnesota River Valley Drug Task Force located a vehicle that was occupied by 24 year old Peter John Lohre.  Lohre, who was wanted by the MN Department of Corrections for violating his parole conditions, was a passenger in a vehicle being driven by a female.  DTF Agents followed the vehicle while it traveled west on US Hwy 14 from the City of Waseca.  DTF Agents contacted Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Deputies to arrange a stop of the vehicle to take Lohre into custody.  BEC Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Hwy 14 near Smith’s Mill.  The vehicle initially stopped, and Deputies attempted to call Lohre out of the vehicle.  Lohre did not comply and the vehicle sped off traveling westbound on Hwy 14 with the female driving.  Deputies pursued the vehicle for approximately five miles and successfully deployed a tire deflation device.  A BEC Deputy performed a pursuit termination maneuver near the intersection of Hwy 14 and CoRd 55 and the vehicle came to a stop.  Lohre and a 19 year old female from Mankato were taken into custody.
