The Minnesota Medical Association (MMA) is urging Minnesotans once again to get vaccinated for COVID-19. MMA President Dr. Randy Rice says for those who are reluctant to get the shot…

“It’s been shown to be very safe, there’s been over 400 million doses given in the U-S certainly with any medicine there’s a few potential complications and side effects and that’s certainly not good when it happens, but the risks of that are far, far less than what we see from the virus.”

Over the past week, Minnesota has risen to the top of the nation’s infection rate, crowding the state’s ICUs. Dr. Rice says 70-percent of the COVID-19 cases admitted to Minnesota hospitals are people who are not vaccinated.
