(New Hope, MN) — A New Hope man is behind bars following a fatal hit-and-run. Police say 35-year-old Said Maye was found guilty after he allegedly ran over a man at he intersection of Franklin Avenue and Lyndale Avenue last August. According to reports, Maye drove into the victim while he was getting into his car. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Maye’s sentencing is set for December 10th.
