(Washington, DC) — Minnesota Representative Ilhan Omar is certain that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will make good on her promise to punish Colorado Congresswoman Lauren Boebert for her anti-Muslim remarks. Omar described the comments as ‘shocking and unacceptable’ during an interview on CNN’s State of the Union. She also called Republican Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy ‘a liar and a coward’ for not punishing Boebert and stripping her of her committees. Omar said she’s very confident Pelosi will hold a vote in the coming week to punish the Colorado lawmaker.
