— Lauren Alaina’s new book is out today. It’s called “Getting Good at Being You: Learning to Love Who God Made You to Be.” She’s one of a handful of country artists who released books this year. The others are Brett Young, Lady A, Jimmie Allen and Kelsea Ballerini.

— Blake Shelton and Ellen make an awfully cute Santa Clause and Mrs. Clause. The two teamed up on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” yesterday to deliver goodies to fans in the audience. The gifts included certificates to Famous Footwear, a two-night stay at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Resort in Arizona and Bombas. Santa Shelton also performed his current single, “Come Back as a Country Boy.

— Lauren Alaina is getting back on the road after a two-year break. The singer announced her second-headlining tour, called the Sitting Pretty on Top of the World Tour, yesterday. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, December 10th. Jimmie Allen and Cole Swindell also announced tours yesterday.

— Kenny Chesney is adding another number-one single to his catalog of hits. “Knowing You” took the top spot on the chart this week after a nine-month climb. Fans can catch Chesney singing the song live this spring when he kicks off his ‘Here and Now Tour’ on April 23rd in Tampa, Florida.

— Old Dominion is gifting fans with a new single. The band says “No Hard Feelings” will be “coming to a radio near you” soon. It’s one of 13 tracks on the band’s ‘Time, Tequila & Therapy’ album. It’s also the song that inspired the title of the album.
