Ashton Kutcher will star opposite Reese Witherspoon in the Netflix feature Your Place or Mine, based on the original script by The Devil Wears Prada and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend writer Aline Brosh McKenna, who will also be making her feature directorial debut.  The rom-com, per Deadline, follows “two best friends who live on opposite coasts swap homes for a week and see their whole lives change”.

Hulu has given a straight-to-series order to the drama Tell Me Lies, with Grace Van Patten set to star.  Tell Me Lies follows the tumultuous eight-year relationship between Lucy Albright — played by Van Patten — and Stephen DeMarco, whose seemingly mundane choices lead to irrevocable consequences.  Van Patten will next be seen in David E. Kelley’s limited series, Nine Perfect Strangers, opposite Nicole Kidman and Melissa McCarthy, premiering August 18th on Hulu.

The stars of Fox’s procedural drama series 9-1-1 will be receiving pay raises ahead of the show’s fifth season, according to Deadline.  The biggest will go to Angela Bassett, who will reportedly earn upwards of $450 million, believed to be among the top salaries for any actor — male or female — on network TV and possibly the highest ever for an actress of color on a broadcast drama series.  Peter Krause, who nabbed a 25 percent raise, is the second-highest-paid star on the show, earning around $300,000 per episode.  He’s followed by Jennifer Love Hewitt, who joined the series in season two, replacing Connie Britton.

Sex and the City alum Josh Corbett and Bo Derek, the actress best-known for her breakthrough film role in the 1979 comedy 10, secretly tied the knot in December after 20 years together.  Corbett shared the news during an appearance on Tuesday’s episode of The Talk, telling co-host Jerry O’Connell, “I can’t believe I forgot to tell you…Bo and I got married.”  The 60-year-old actor, showing off his wedding band, explained that the couple kept the marriage a secret because “we’re pretty private people.”  Corbett added they “didn’t want 2020 to be that thing that everybody looks back and hated.  And we thought, let’s get one good thing around it and did it around Christmas.”  Corbett and Derek began dating in 2002.  It’s his first marriage.  Bo, 64, was previously married to actor-director John Derek for almost 22 years before his death in 1998.

Patricia Clarkson has been added to the cast of She Said, the Carey Mulligan/Zoe Kazan-led movie about The New York Times sexual harassment investigation against Harvey Weinstein that kicked off the #MeToo movement, will open in theaters on November 18, 2022, according to Deadline.  Clarkson will play Rebecca Corbett, the New York Times’ investigations department editor who oversaw Times reporters Megan Twohey and Jodi Kantor, authors of the book She Said: Breaking the Sexual Harassment Story That Helped Ignite a Movement.  The movie will focus on Twohey and Kantor’s work to uncover the widespread sexual harassment and assault allegations against Weinstein, who was ultimately sentenced to 23 years in prison.

A star from the 90s TV show “Baywatch” may be setting a new real estate record. Pamela Anderson sold her California mansion in Malibu for eleven-point-eight-million dollars, possibly the highest price for the area. The 54-year-old lowered the price from her original listing in March but still made more than ten-million on it. She now lives in her native Canada with her bodyguard husband. That’s where they got married last December.
