Before Charlie Pride was a famous country music star, he was a pitcher for the Memphis Red Sox and Birmingham Black Barons of the Negro league, from 1953 to 1958. After his baseball career, Pride moved on to his pursue music. Although Pride was a great singer, he never lost his passion for baseball, and now he will be honored with a namesake at the Texas Rangers spring training complex, located in Surprise, AZ. The Country Music Association just announced that the 2021 CMA fest will be canceled, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. CMA's CEO Sarah Trahern announced the news on Tuesday, March 2nd. Travis Tritt has been working very hard on his 11 song project called Set in Stone. This will be Tritt's first album since The Storm back in 2007.  He's also including a new single called "Smoke in a Bar."
